We had a group of students from the University of Chicago come through the museum last week. They were on the “world’s largest scavenger hunt,” starting in Illinois and making their way through Wisconsin, Minnesota, and finally North Dakota. The Hjemkomst Center was one of their stops, where they had to find answers relating to the Hjemkomst ship and Robert Asp. Each student was assigned a specific character to play (hence the eccentric attire). It looked like a lot of fun and we wish them the best of luck as they make their way back to Chicago!
